There could be 20 million Coronavirus cases in the US, claim health department officials   

Washington: – The number of Coronavirus deaths around the world has reached 493,181. Whereas the total number of cases has reached 9,773,252. The pandemic has acquired severe proportions in the world and the US health department officials claimed that there are nearly 20 million Coronavirus cases in the United States. Meanwhile, the US health agencies have informed that there are 2.5 million Coronavirus cases in the country.

20 million Coronavirus cases

Organisations like the John Hopkins University and Worldometer have informed that, in the last 24 hours, Coronavirus has claimed nearly 7,000 lives. More than 2,500 deaths have been reported from the United States alone, taking the total number of deaths in the United States to 126,911. Whereas, nearly 2,000 deaths have been reported from Brazil. The number of deaths in this country has crossed 55,000. A total of 190,000 deaths have been reported from the European countries.

There was a shocking revelation that the number of new cases reported in the last 24 hours, is nearly 200,000. There are 9,773,252 Coronavirus cases in 212 countries. Out of these, nearly 40,000 new cases have been reported from Brazil, in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of cases in the country to 1,233,147 whereas there are 2,511,784 Coronavirus Cases, in the United States with an addition of 39,000 new cases in the last 24 hours. But the health department officials are claiming that the number in the United States, is ten times of the published figures. These health officials are claiming that nearly 20 million US citizens have been infected by Coronavirus.  

Meanwhile, a comforting news, that 53,000 people recovered fully from Coronavirus in the last 24 hours, also is being received. But Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund expressed a concern that the situation of the big financial institutions in the world has become worrisome, because of the pandemic.
