US Secretary Pompeo visits Israel and Arab countries to discuss Iran and China

Washington: – US State Secretary, Mike Pompeo is reaching Israel and Arab countries, for an important visit. As per received information, Pompeo will be holding discussions for promoting the peace agreement between Israel and the Arab countries and the perceived threats from Iran and China. Following the Pompeo visit, a delegation led by Jared Kushner and National Security Advisor Robert O’Brian will be visiting Israel and the Arab countries.

Moreover, US President Donald Trump decided to send State Secretary Pompeo and Kushner on a special visit to Israel and the Arab-Islamic countries. This was decided against the background of the peace agreement signed, between Israel and UAE last week. An official from the Trump administration informed that Pompeo and Advisor Kushner would be making efforts to establish cooperation between Israel and the Arab countries. Thus, on Monday, Secretary Pompeo will be reaching Israel, along with his delegation. The US State Secretary will be visiting the countries Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Sudan.

Whereas, Kushner, Advisor to President Trump, with his delegation, will leave for a visit to Israel and the Arab countries, at the end of this week. The delegation will include National Security Advisor O’Brian along with special envoy for peace in the Middle East, Avi Berkowitz and special envoy for Iran, Brian Hook. The Kushner delegation will visit Israel, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Morocco. It is claimed that along with Middle Eastern peace, the activities of Iran and China in the Middle East, also will be discussed during this visit of the Kushner delegation. During the visit, the US officials will be meeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defence Minister Beni Gantz, Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman and UAE Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Meanwhile, the United States is making efforts to establish cooperation between Israel and the Arab countries. But at the same time, the Iranian nuclear program, military intervention in the Middle East, also will be discussed by the US officials. The concerns expressed by the countries in the Middle East, over the Chinese investments in Iran, also will be discussed during the visit of the US officials.
