Pakistan army has sold the country to China, accuses MQM Chief Altaf Hussain

London: – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief, Altaf Hussain, made a crushing allegation that the Pakistan military has sold the country to China. Hussain added that the action of the Pakistan military against the Mujahir, Baloch, Sindhi and Pashtun communities is a part of the same thing. Only a few days ago, the Sindhi and Mujahir groups in Pakistan observed the Pakistan Independence Day as a Black Day. The organisations from Balochistan also have claimed that China is trying to take over the regions through the medium of CPEC.

Altaf Hussain accused that the Pakistan military and the security agencies are dominated by the people from Punjab, and the military is making moves to make the country a tributary state of China. Hussain targeted the Pakistan military by saying that the Punjabi-dominated Pakistan military has sold a major part of Balochistan, including the Gwadar port, to China. The houses and lands of the Baloch people are being handed over to the Chinese after displacing them from their villages. Many sensitive areas are under Chinese control, and even the Pakistan military officials are not allowed entry in these parts.

The MQM chief claimed that this is also being repeated in the Sindh province along with the Karachi city. Hussain said, ‘To fulfil the requirements of China, houses and markets in many parts of the Sindh province, including the city of Karachi, are being demolished and the land is being handed over to China. The Pakistan military initiated this action as the MQM opposed the proposal.’ Hussain said that similar activities are being carried out even in the Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan regions and accused that the Pakistan military is trying to create a divide between the Mujahirs and the Sindhi communities.

China has invested billions of dollars through the medium of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). While taking over the Gwadar port completely through this, China has started intruding on a big scale in other parts as well. The movement of Chinese citizens and officials has greatly increased in the major cities in the Balochistan province of Pakistan, and incidents have been reported of these Chinese citizens not paying any heed even to the Pakistan government agencies.

A few days ago, two rebel organisations came together to launch attacks on the Chinese interests in Pakistan and the CPEC project. An accusation had been made at that time that Sindh and Balochistan have suffered similar losses due to the expansionist and aggressive activities of the Chinese, and China is making efforts to take over the Sindh province under the disguise of the CPEC project. Saying that 90% of the people from Balochistan and Sindh province want independent Balochistan and Sindhudesh a few months ago, Altaf Hussain had appealed that a bill should be presented in the US Congress on this issue.
