Pakistani conspiracy busted after the historic decision to scrap Article 370, Chief of Military Staff General Naravane  

New Delhi: The decision to repeal Article 370 was a historical one. Chief of Military Staff, General Manoj Naravane, has said that the conspiracies of Pakistan and Pakistan-sponsored terrorist groups, were busted with this decision. The Chief of Military Staff welcomed the decision of the Union Government while addressing the function organised on the occasion of the 72nd Army Day. At the same time, General Naravane also issued a stern warning that the policy of ‘zero tolerance for terrorism’ will continue to be implemented by the Indian military and the military will not hesitate to take the measures necessary for this.

The Chief of Military Staff attacked Pakistan without taking names at the function organised at the Cariappa Parade Ground. General Naravane emphasised that the conspiracies of Pakistan and its sponsored terrorist groups were busted because of the scrapping of Article 370.   

 Article 370At the same time, the Chief of Military Staff expressed confidence that this decision of the Union Government will help bring Jammu and Kashmir into the country’s mainstream. General Naravane announced that the policy of not to tolerate terrorism will continue to be implemented by the Indian military and the counter-terrorism activities of the military would be carried out with the same intensity.  

The Chief of Military Staff made a special mention that the military has succeeded in maintaining peace at the Line of Control, as well as the Kashmir border. General Naravane indicated that the aggressive stand adopted by the military is responsible for this. He expressed satisfaction that the Chinese border region is much more peaceful than the Pakistan border. At the same time, General Naravane clarified that the Indian military is taking the necessary decisions because of the changing war techniques.  

The Chief of Military Staff expressed satisfaction saying ‘The process of weapons and ammunition purchase for the military, has been expedited. The decision has been taken to augment the capabilities in Integrated Battlefields, space and cyber sector, forming units having participation from all the three defence forces.’ General Naravane said that the striking capacity of the Indian military has increased because of the advanced weapon systems inducted in the last year. General Naravane claimed that the weapons systems to be inducted this year would further increase the strength of the Indian military.
