Pakistan threatens to start a nuclear war by targeting specific areas in India

Islamabad: – Pakistan’s Minister for Railways, Sheikh Rashid, threatened that if India attacked Pakistan, Pakistan would launch nuclear strikes on specific areas in India. Pakistan Minister’s claim is being scoffed at by the media and well as on social media. Analysts claimed that the Minister seems to have made this statement in an attempt to divert attention from the tension reigning between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Even last year, Sheikh Rashid became a laughing stock, after issuing a statement that Pakistan has nuclear bombs of 125 and 250 grams to attack India.

Sheikh Rashid tried to threaten India by saying, ‘If India attacked Pakistan any time in the future, there would be no conventional war. Henceforth, it will be nuclear and a gory war. Pakistan possesses small and accurate nuclear missiles. Pakistani missiles will only target specific areas in India. This will not cause any Muslims casualties in India. Pakistan possesses nuclear missiles capable of reaching up to Assam in India.’

Sheikh Rashid confessed that Pakistan has no option to retaliate against an Indian attack in a conventional war. Sheikh Rashid claimed that as this option was not available, Pakistan will launch a nuclear war and everyone will be finished in the war. Pakistan, aware of the growing Indian might in the defence sector, clearly knows that it stands no chance against the Indian onslaught. Therefore, Pakistan resorts to empty threats of a nuclear war to India, time and again.

Even last year, after the Indian announcement for the abrogation of Article 370, the Pakistan Prime Minister had bragged that one should remember that Pakistan has nuclear weapons, in an attempt to attract attention to the Kashmir issue. Even then, Sheikh Rashid had made a statement that Pakistan has mini nuclear bombs with 125 and 250 grams. The analysts claimed that his current statement could be an attempt to coverup the failures of the Pakistan government on nearly all the fronts.

The threat issued by the Pakistan Foreign Minister to the Islamic organisation OIC has badly boomeranged. Following the threat, Saudi Arabia has stopped crude supply to Pakistan and has demanded repayment of loans, worth billions of dollars. All the Pakistani efforts to pacify Saudi have failed miserably, and it was reported that Saudi was made an urgent payment of USD 1 billion. Prime Minister Imran Khan
