pakistan, indian army, ceasefireThe Indian Deputy High Commissioner, J. P. Singh has been summoned by the Pakistani foreign ministry twice in two days. The Pakistani Foreign Ministry has levelled the accusation that the Indian army is violating the ceasefire along the LoC. This is causing civilian casualties and in a recent firing a worker was killed, said Pakistan. The Indian firing has caused 16 civilian deaths and 65 have been injured. But, the Indian army is not relenting in spite of repeated requests, alleged the Pakistani Foreign Ministry.

While, Pakistan has been making these allegations, it has been revealed that there is an equipped unit of terrorists ready to infiltrate from the Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK). A unit belonging to the Pakistani ‘Border Action Team’ (BAT) is also a part of this. There are terrorists of the Lashkar-e-Taiba and ‘Jaish-e-Mohammad’ along with the Pakistan soldiers. The alertness of the Indian soldiers is effectively foiling these attempts. Two of the BAT members were killed by the Indian army on Wednesday. On Thursday, the Indian army destroyed the Pakistan posts around the Mendhar sector. These posts are said to be within 500 metres of the LoC.

This action by the Indian army was in retaliation of the firing from the Pakistani posts in the Mendhar sector. It is said that this is a message by the Indian army against the instigating firing opened by the Pakistan army. The analysts and army officers are claiming that India was making allegations of firing against Pakistan, although the ceasefire violation was done by India. The infiltrators through the LoC and the terrorists killed by the Indian army, are exposing the lie in the Pakistan claims.

There is also an instance of the Pakistan helicopter violating the Indian airspace in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. The Indian army has taken a serious note of the matter.
