New Delhi: – On September 25th, seven militants infiltrated from the Line of Control (LoC) in the Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district. However, four militants fled to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir after Indian troops resorted to firing. Two of the militants were killed by Indian soldiers. Officials from the Indian Army informed at a news conference that one of the terrorists, a Pakistani national, surrendered.

Ali Babar Patra is the name of this 19-year-old terrorist. He is a resident of Okhra in the Punjab province of Pakistan. Lashkar-e-Taiba trained him in terrorist activities. Ali said that he got false information that the Indian Army was committing atrocities in Kashmir and incited terrorist activities. He further said, ‘But here, we do not see anything of that sort’. Moreover, Ali said that he had not been beaten or tortured since his capture.

‘After joining the Lashkar, I received about ₹20,000. it was promised that after crossing the Line of Control (LOC) and entering Kashmir, another ₹30,000 will be given to my family.’ Ali said. However, Ali gave the message that the purpose for which he was sent here was entirely wrong. Ali advised the Pakistani youth not to imitate him, saying that the information spread by Pakistan about Kashmir was completely false. Meanwhile, after identifying Ali, the Indian Army officials have released his mother’s mobile number.

This has once again exposed Pakistan’s involvement in terrorist activities. Analysts had warned that after the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, Pakistan would take advantage and start a new series of terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan has not taken long to prove its point. However, Indian troops have triggered a spate of stopping and killing Pakistan-backed militants along the LoC itself. It has thwarted Pakistan’s conspiracy to draw the world’s attention to the Kashmir problem through terrorist acts. Some former Indian military officials have claimed that Pakistan had hatched a plot to carry out sabotage activities, especially when the Indian prime minister visited the United States and addressed the UN General Assembly. But the Indian troops thwarted the plot.

With the capture of Ali Babar Patra alive, it will be increasingly difficult for Pakistan to cover up the matter. A few days ago, Pakistani ministers claimed that they had achieved a remarkable feat by handing over fabricated evidence of Indian involvement in terrorist activities to the United Nations. But now Pakistan will have to rush to answer the allegations against it by denying to identify the living terrorist.
