Pakistan conspiring to bleed India with a thousand cuts

Srinagar: Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed his gratitude to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country’s honour as the conflict in Galwan completed two years. The Defence Minister said that the country would never forget their courage, bravery and supreme sacrifice. At the same time, during his visit to Jammu and Kashmir, the Defence Minister sharply criticised Pakistan. Addressing the security forces, the Defence Minister said Pakistan is still working on a conspiracy to bleed India by inflicting a thousand cuts.

By eliminating terrorists from Jammu and Kashmir, the security forces have broken the backbone of terrorist organisations here. Since then, Pakistan-backed militant groups have been working on various plots to destabilise Jammu and Kashmir. As attacks on security forces’ personnel were being foiled, the terrorists hatched a vicious conspiracy to target the common people of Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorist organisations are trying to make their presence felt by taking the lives of government employees and citizens coming from other states. There have been reports of such orders being issued by the leaders of these terrorist organisations in Pakistan.

After India revoked Article 370, which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan had failed to raise the issue at the international level. Upset that no one is not paying attention to its demands on Kashmir, Pakistan has joined hands with terrorist organisations and started target killings in Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan’s conspiracy is behind the terrorist attacks on civilians and government employees. Through this, Pakistan wants to create a picture of discontent in Jammu and Kashmir.

Taking serious note of this, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh gave a stern warning to Pakistan. ‘Our neighbouring country has always been indulging in anti-India activities. Pakistan is working on a conspiracy to bleed India by inflicting a thousand cuts. But the BSF acted like a strong fence to protect the country. Therefore, Pakistan, which was preparing to inflict wounds on India, is now bleeding,’ the Defence Minister said. The Defence Minister praised the BSF personnel and said, ‘The whole country has great faith in you. The country is confident that you are ready to face any challenge.’

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has said that if Pakistan tries to undermine the country’s unity and integrity in the future, India will not stop short of a humbling retaliation. During his visit, the Defence Minister assessed the level of readiness on the international border and the Line of Control (LoC) near Pakistan. There are reports that Pakistan’s military will be increasing cooperation with the Chinese military. The matter had come to light after Pakistan Army Chief General Bajwa’s visit to China. China and Pakistan have long been working on a conspiracy to exert military pressure on India by increasing their movements on both borders simultaneously. Against that backdrop, the Defence Minister’s visit to Jammu and Kashmir, the Line of Control, and his warning to Pakistan have gained significance.
