Baltimore: The number of Coronavirus deaths in the United States has crossed 92,000 and there are more than 1.5 million cases of Coronavirus, in the country. There as been a revelation causing concern that strange signs of the pandemic are being observed in children. Against this background, the Centre for Disease Control (CDC) in the United States, has issued a fresh warning. A few days ago, children in the United Kingdom also had presented with similar signs.
Coronavirus has claimed 320,790 lives around the world. The John Hopkins university informed that this includes the 3,404 lives claimed, in the last 24 hours. At the same time, more than 90,000 new cases of Coronavirus have been reported, from around the world, taking the total number of cases to 4,923,997. 1.9 million patients, out of these, have recovered fully after treatment. On Monday, the pandemic claimed 759 lives in the United States, taking the total number of deaths to 98,981 whereas 42,000 new cases of Coronavirus were reported from the country, on Monday.
While the number of deaths and cases is on a decline in the United States, the CDC issued a crucial alert. CDC said that the Children in the United States are presenting with new signs and this is a cause of concern. The CDC has warned in its alert that Multisystem inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIC-C) has been found in children. The main symptoms of this disease are fever, stomach ache, diarrhoea and change in skin colour. 64 children have been reported from the city of New York with this disease. Before this, this disease was observed even in the United Kingdom. Some children have died because of Coronavirus in France. Against this background, the CDC has issued this warning.
In other developments regarding the Coronavirus pandemic, 9,963 new cases have been reported from Russia. This takes the total number of cases in Russia to 299,941. Following the United States, the maximum number of cases have been reported only from Russia. Brazil has reported 823 deaths in the last 24 hours. Whereas, there was an addition of more than 16,000 new Coronavirus cases in Brazil, taking the total count of Coronavirus cases to 257,396. It is being reported that the local tribal population, in the Amazon rain forest, have also been affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. On Monday, the pandemic claimed 23 lives in the Amazon forest and it is claimed that 103 locals have fallen prey to the pandemic so far, in the Amazon forests. The tribal population is being evacuated from the forest, to prevent further spread on the pandemic in the Amazon forest.
