Rift widens in France due to hypocritical leftist ideology imported from US, warns French President Emmanuel Macron

Paris/Washington: – French President Emmanuel Macron delivered a crushing blow saying that the hypocritical leftist ideology imported from the United States is taking France towards extremism and is creating an ever-increasing divide in the French population. Macron also warned that this ideology has placed the ethnic minorities in France under house arrest and has created insecurity in these minorities. This is the second instance of President Macron firing a salvo of criticism against the leftist ideology in the last six months. It is being observed that his stand is gaining good support from the French population.

President Macron heavily criticised the hypocritical leftist ideology during an interview with Elle magazine. Macron accused, ‘Feminist groups and organisations working for blacks target everyone based on sex and race. This is creating a divide in the French population and is creating a feeling of insecurity in the ethnic minority communities.’ Macron also claimed that sex and race are not the only reasons for the difficulties faced on the social level, but social inequality also plays a significant role in it.

Over the last few years, it has been observed that the leftist groups and youth have become aggressively vocal. This has been seen in the agitations in support of ‘Black Lives Matter’ and the Yellow Vest protests. Even the French traditions and history are being challenged in some educational institutions promoting racial ideologies. Instances of boycotting the philosophers supporting French traditions have also been reported.

Against this background, President Macron, while targeting all this, has made an open accusation that the hypocritical leftist ideology is behind all this. It has been observed that his stand is gaining support from the rightist groups and philosophers from France. More than 100 philosophers from France have released an open letter. This letter warned that the hypocritical leftist ideology from the US and the boycott culture could threaten the French existence.
