KhartoumKhartoum – Khartoum, the capital of Sudan, has once again been rocked by airstrikes. Sources informed that airstrikes have occurred in Khartoum and nearby areas since Friday night. Army fighter jets and paramilitary helicopters are said to be targeting each other’s locations in Khartoum. After more than a month, the civil war in Sudan is not ending soon, international analysts claim. The media and human rights organisations are complaining that Western countries are not putting proper pressure on the military and paramilitary forces to resolve the conflict in Sudan.

According to the United Nations, nearly 11 lakh citizens of Sudan have been displaced so far.
