At the same time, arrangements for the safety and security of citizens are being done. Pakistan and Pakistan backed terrorist groups have plans to create unrest and induce fear amongst Kashmiri pandits and other minorities, making them flee the valley like they were forced in 1990. Security forces are taking necessary actions to make the Kashmiri pandits feel secure.

Thus, senior officials of CRPF met to discuss security measures for Kashmiri pandits and other minorities. Director-General of Police (DGP), Dilbagh Singh, suggested using drone grid technology to the deputy inspector general of CRPF (operations), Mathew A John. Drone grid is made by having multiple drones connected to a network for surveillance. Live feed can be provided in the control room to detect any suspicious activity to act immediately. 15 such localities of Kashmiri pandit, Sikh and migrant workers have been identified for aerial surveillance. Drone from CRPF and J&K police convoy have been used for deployment.
