Israel will stop Iran from getting bomb at any cost

Paphos: – Israeli Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi announced that Israel is willing to take any steps to prevent the nuclear bomb becoming available to the extremist in Iran. The Israeli Foreign Minister announced it during his Cyprus visit. At the same time, Gabi underlined the importance of the regional cooperation between Israel, Cyprus, Greece and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Israel indicates that this strategic cooperation will prove decisive, given the perceived threats from Iran and Turkey.

israel-greece-nuclear-bombBesides, a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Cyprus, UAE, Greece and Israel was held recently. After returning to Israel, foreign minister Ashkenazi informed that the threats of Iran and Iran affiliated Hezbollah to the stability of the Middle East were discussed during the meeting. Ashkenazi said that all four countries agreed that Iran affiliated terrorist organisations are destabilising Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen.   

The Israeli Foreign Minister underlined that this cooperation between Israel, Cyprus, Greece and UAE is vital. The cooperation between these four countries becomes an essential step towards increasing the positive influence of the Abraham agreement.  

The Abraham agreement will bring prosperity and peace to the entire Gulf sector. Simultaneously, the influence of prosperity and stability is being increased in the Mediterranean Sea region through these meetings. The Israeli Foreign Minister announced that this cooperation between these four countries paves a new regional cooperation path. Following the Israeli Foreign Minister’s visit, a defence agreement worth $1.6 billion was signed between Israel and Greece. As per this agreement, Israel will be providing special assistance to Greece regarding fighter jets.   

Meanwhile, the cooperation between Israel, Cyprus, Greece and UAE is proving to be a challenge for Turkey and Iran, against the background of the increasing provocative Turkish activities in the Mediterranean Sea and the rising Iranian interference in the Middle East.
