Israel to use armed drones to attack West Bank

But in the last few years, there has been a huge increase in support from Gaza for rocket attacks on Israel by Hamas and Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip. There have also been incidents of violence by Hamas supporters on the streets of Jerusalem. This had an impact on the Arab settlements of Israel as well. There were also incidents of attacks on Israeli soldiers in cities like Jenin. Lone wolf attacks on Israeli soldiers and civilians have increased over the past few weeks. Most of these were revealed to be terrorists or radicals from the West Bank. While the Israeli army was taking action against the terrorists, there were also incidents of attacks by locals. Israeli soldiers were injured in this. Against this background, the Israeli army has allowed drones for targeted killings against such terrorists.

Simultaneously, it has also come to light that the Israeli army has installed CCTVs equipped with machine guns in the streets of Hebron city at the West Bank. Equipped with AI, this machine gun can fire stun grenades, tear gas and sponge-tipped bullets to disperse crowds. This may be the first time that such a CCTV will be installed.
