Damascus: The Israeli military has declared that it has carried out an attack on the Quneitra Crossing under the control of the Syrian military and three Syrian military posts have been destroyed in the attack.
It was decided in the agreement signed in 1974 between Israel and Syria that there will be no deployment of Syrian military and tanks near the Golan Heights border of Israel. The United Nation’s peace keeping force was deployed in this region for the same purpose. But the Syrian military violated the agreement and took control of the military posts in the Quneitra Crossing area. Therefore, Israel attacked three Syrian military posts in Quneitra for the security of its own border, informed the Israeli military.
However, the Syrian media has claimed that the Israeli attacks were successfully foiled by Syria. The air defence systems of the Syrian military successfully repelled the Israeli fighter jet attacks, claimed the mouthpiece of the Syrian government.
