ISIS terrorist Abu Yousuf trains youth for suicide attacks

New Delhi: Police shockingly revealed that Mohammad Mustakim Khan, a terrorist affiliated to ‘IS’, was training youth in nearby villages in Uttar Pradesh, for suicide attacks. The special cell of the Uttar Pradesh police arrested IS terrorist Mohammad Mustakim Khan AKA Abu Yousuf, on 21st of August. Yousuf is the original resident of Balarampur in Uttar Pradesh. Police seized materials for suicide attacks, explosives required for making bombs and an IS flag from his residence.

Abu Yousuf used to visit the local places of worship in Siddharth Nagar district and turn youth towards terrorism. Abu Yousuf was trying to recruit youth for the terrorist organisation. He was planning suicide attacks in the country. When there was no help coming forward, he decided to plan a suicide attack on his own. Khan had incited many youths for suicide attacks.

Police informed that the plan was busted with his arrest, while giving information regarding Yousuf’s plan. Mohammad Mustakim Khan used to run a business of beauty products. But he joined the terrorist organisation later. Personnel from the special cell of Delhi Police intercepted Abu Yousuf while he was riding a two-wheeler, on the ring road in Delhi. At this time, he opened fire on the police. Police arrested Abu Yousuf following an encounter that ensued.

The Delhi Police were following his every move since the last one year. 2 IEDs of 15 Kilograms each, were seized from him, at the time of arrest. He had planned a major attack on Independence Day. The interrogation revealed that he was trained by the IS to operate as a ‘Lone Wolf’.
