Iran wins negotiations, not war; US President delivers message to Iran

Third World WarWashington/Tehran: US President Donald Trump said ‘Iran has never won a war, but this country has never lost out in a negotiation.’ President Trump delivered a straight forward message to Iran, on the social media, that it will be better for Iran to accept the US proposal for negotiations, as in case of war Iran will be devastated. It is once again being seen that the US President has pointed out to Iran that war would prove to be a costly mistake for Iran.

A few hours ago, US Secretary of state, Mike Pompeo, proposed talks to Iran. Pompeo said in his social media post ‘I had given a proposal to visit Iran and discuss the issues regarding the nuclear deal,to the Khamenei regime. I wanted to establish a direct dialogue with the Iranian people. But the Iran government rejected my proposal.’

Iran wins negotiations, not warPompeo clarified that the proposal for talks stands, despite the Iranian refusal. Pompeo said that even President Trump was eager to talk to Iran, but he expects Iran to improve its behaviour, before that.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has put a condition that if the United States wants to talk to Iran, it should first withdraw the sanctions imposed against Iran. As per the Iranian government, the talks are meaningless with the sanctions in force. The United States is in no mood to oblige. President Trump said a few days ago, that this Iranian stubbornness is making it difficult to negotiate with this country.

This seems to be one more attempt of the US President to make Iran aware of the situation.
