The Israeli media has carried reports countering the claim, saying that the attacks caused major losses to the Karaj nuclear project. Last month, drone attacks were carried out on the Karaj nuclear project situated near the capital, Tehran. The Iranian media said that the sources informed that it was not an isolated drone but a swarm drone attack on the Karaj atomic project. Rabii accused that Israel carried out this attack to dismantle the talks between the western countries and Iran, held in Vienna. Rabii informed that damages were caused only to the roof of the project in the attacks. But the Israeli media and private investigation agencies have published satellite photographs claiming major damages to the project.

The roof of the Karaj project suffered massive damages in the drone attack. At the same time, it is seen in the satellite photographs that the fire caused huge damages. Centrifuges are manufactured in the Karaj nuclear project. As per the Israeli media, the possibility of damages caused to the centrifuges also cannot be denied.

Before holding Israel responsible for the drone attacks on the Karaj nuclear project, a fire broke out in one of the warehouses in the project. The cause of the fire could not be ascertained. It is also not known what the warehouse was being used for. But the fire is claimed to have been enormous.

Since the last one and a half years, there have been suspicious explosions and fires at the locations linked with Iranian defence. These include the explosion at the Natanz project to the fire at the warehouse in Karaj. Iranian leaders and military officials are holding Israel responsible for these incidents. But Israel has refrained from commenting on any of the accusations.

Meanwhile, there have been repeated power failures and blackouts in many major Iranian cities, including Tehran. The outgoing President Rouhani has expressed regret over the blackouts and has apologised to the Iranian population.
