Iran installs new centrifuges in Natanz Nuclear Project while US and Euro

Tehran: Negotiations in Vienna to revive the nuclear deal with Iran were unsuccessful. But now, the United States and European Union have started efforts to start fresh negotiations in Vienna. The United States and the European Union representatives will arrive in Vienna soon. While this news has surfaced, Iran has stepped up efforts to install a new cascade of centrifuges at the Natanz nuclear plant. Earlier, the International Atomic Energy Commission had expressed concerns over the growing number of centrifuges in the Iranian nuclear power plant.

According to Noor News from Iran, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran has started installing centrifuges from the IR-1 and IR-6 categories at the Ahmadi Roshan plant in Natanz. The Iranian news agency informed that the operation is going on in the basement of the project and security has been provided to the project. Two days ago, the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization ordered the commissioning of hundreds of centrifuges in the Iranian nuclear power plant. A few days ago, the United States imposed new sanctions on Iran. In response to these sanctions, Iran decided to commission these centrifuges, the Atomic Energy Organization explained. Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahiyan also announced the installation of centrifuges at the Natanz project as a response to the action by the United States.

While Iran is carrying out these activities, the United States and the European Union announced they are making new efforts to revive the 2015 nuclear deal. Enrique Mora, who represented the federation in the negotiations in Vienna, posted this information on social media. Rob Malley, the special envoy, appointed by US President Joe Biden for negotiations with Iran, will also arrive in Vienna in the next few hours. Due to this, even after this move by Iran, the Biden administration seems to be keen on negotiating with Iran.

A few days ago, Iran accused the Biden administration of not being honest about the nuclear deal. Also, senior Iranian leaders warned that Iran has the necessary technology and materials to make a nuclear bomb. Israel drew attention to the Iranian announcement and declared that it is not bound by the nuclear deal the West is making with Iran. Israeli Defence Minister Benny Gantz also warned that Israel could attack the Iranian nuclear program if needed.
