New Delhi: A former Student leader from China appealed that the world should follow the steps taken by India in countering the Chinese expansionism. Zhou Fengsuo, who led students during the Tiananmen square agitation, three decades ago, gave this advice while speaking at the webinar. At this time, while praising India, Fengsuo claimed that the stand of democratic India, against China, will be critical even in the future.

The Indian Thinktanks ‘Law and Society Alliance’ and Defence Dot Capital’ recently organised a webinar. Former Chinese student leader Zhou Fengsuo, Tibetan representative in Europe Thinlay Chukki and journalist Aditya Raj Kaul attended this webinar named ‘Emperor Has no Clothes: China Under Xi Jinping’. At this time, Fengsuo referred to the Chinese communist party as a monster and accused that they want to rule the entire world.

Fengsuo appealed ‘President Jinping wants to become another Mao and he is frantically trying to expand China. Therefore, the Indian stand becomes vital. India is faced with the autarchic dictatorial regime in China and three factors will be important for stopping Jinping’s China. India must take an aggressive stand and infuse strength into the resistance on the issues of Taiwan, National Security Law in Hong Kong and the Chinese Firewall in the internet sector.’ Tibetan representative Thinlay Chukki accused the Chinese regime of genocide in Tibet while speaking about Chinese activities.

‘China has massacred 1.2 million Tibetan citizens and has destroyed more than 6,000 places of worship. The Chinese regime has trampled all the human rights in Tibet. There is tremendous discontent all around the world, over the expansionist activities carried out by the Chinese communist party, against the background of the Coronavirus pandemic. Along with the United States and Europe, even the Asian countries are coming out openly to oppose China and the real face of the Chinese communist party is being revealed to the international community. The statements of Fenfsuo and Chukki, who have faced Chinese atrocities, endorse these views.
