Inflation flaring up due to wrong G7 policies and not the Russian attack -

Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin criticised the G7 countries that the inflation flaring worldwide is not a sudden development. This is the outcome of the incorrect policies implemented by the G7 countries over the last several years. This is not a result of the Russian attack on Ukraine. Criticism is being made that inflation and shortage of essential commodities are increasing in the United States and Europe, in the last few days, due to the Russian attack on Ukraine. The Russian President seems to have replied to the criticism.

Inflation has set a new record in the United States. The inflation index has risen to 8.6% in the United States. In contrast, the inflation index has risen to 9.1% in the United Kingdom. The inflation index in the Eurozone has risen to 8.1%. Besides, Russia is being criticised for being responsible for this flare-up. Intense protests are being held in the United States and Europe against rising inflation. It has been exposed that these countries’ governments are also being hit by discontent. There has been a tremendous decline in the popularity of US President Joe Biden. But President Biden had criticised Russia as responsible for the rising inflation.

The US President is telling the population that this rise in inflation would not have happened if Russia had not attacked Ukraine. The Russian President replied to that. While addressing the BRICS meeting, President Putin clarified that the crisis in world trade is not because of the Russian attack on Ukraine but because of the incorrect policies implemented by the G7 countries over the years.

Western countries claimed that the world is facing a shortage of food due to the food grain stocks held back by Russia. But President Putin claimed that there was no truth in the allegation and the concern shown by the western countries was fake. President Putin added that Russia was prepared to assist in resolving the food grain crisis. President Putin accused that G7 countries are blaming the economic crisis developing in the world given their incorrect policies on Russia.
