Under the agreement, the Gulf countries recognised Israel and agreed to start diplomatic and economic cooperation. There has been a paradigm shift in the policy of these countries, which never acknowledge the existence of Israel. India can play a strategic role with recent development in the Middle East, as per Israeli officials. This has been evident from the growing cooperation between India and the middle east countries over the last few months. This is why many analysts are closely watching the developments during the Indian MEA’s visit to Israel.

There is a new government in Israel and Prime Minister Bennett’s government which is equally keen to establish excellent cooperation with India, like the previous government. Since Biden became President of the United States, the Israeli government has taken a firm stand against his pro-Iranian policies. In such a situation, Israel is preparing to retaliate against the Biden administration by establishing cooperation with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. As India shares excellent relations with Iran, it has already become clear that Israel and the middle east countries are looking at India to play a role for regional stability and as a significant economic partner.
