The other leaders participating in the conference have also underlined the importance of conserving the environment and making efforts in that direction.

Developing countries are mainly using coal and other conventional fuels for energy. The developed countries are complaining that this is endangering the environment. These rich countries are especially trying to pressurise the developing countries India and China. Only a few days ago, Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar replied to this.

Till today, the developed countries damaged the environment. Now countries like India are being blamed for this. But India will not succumb to these pressures. Javadekar said that India by itself would keep the Carbon emissions under control and discharge its responsibilities. Against this background, the importance of renewable energy options has increased and India is consciously making efforts.

Against this background, the importance of the ‘US-India Clean Energy Agenda 2030’ partnership increases further. US companies are leaders in energy production. At the same time, India is a country with a consistently rising energy demand. Therefore, the US energy-producing companies have been eyeing India as a huge opportunity. Therefore, this partnership between the two countries in this area can prove vital in the future.
