Islamabad: Pakistan air force chief expressed a concern, ‘India will launch an attack on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), in the next few months, with Rafale fighter jets.’ It is reported that the fighter jets of the Pakistan air force are hovering over PoK, Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi, in preparation of retaliation against a possible Indian attack. Against this background, the fear expressed by Pakistan’s Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan speaks about the mental state of Pakistan.

The French-made Rafale fighter jets have been inducted in the Indian Air Force, in the last month and within the next year, these Rafale jets will be equipped with the ‘Meteor’ missiles. Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan claimed that the Indian Air Force would launch an attack within 18 to 24 months of installation of the ‘Meteor’ missiles, on the Rafale fighter jets. With the ‘Meteor’ missiles, the Rafale fighter jets can launch simultaneous attacks on multiple targets in Pakistan, remaining at a distance of five kilometres. The Pakistan air force chief expressed a fear that India will certainly take this action to establish its air superiority. The Air force chief also alleged that India could also invade into Pakistan and attack.

Only last week, on the occasion of the Airforce Day, Indian Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria, mentioned the Rafale fighter jets. Air Chief Marshal Bhadauria said that the Indian first strike capability had been strengthened due to the induction of the Rafale fighter jets. The IAF chief had also reminded that these fighter jets could launch an attack deep into enemy territory, without even crossing the border. After that, this statement of the Pakistan air force chief has been reported.

It is reported that in the last 24 hours that the movements of the Pakistan air force have increased in the main cities of Pakistan and also along the Line of Control. A website monitoring the flight movements noticed that Saab Gripen and F-16 fighter jets, from Pakistan air force, are hovering in the airspace of Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Whereas, the Pakistan air force also conducted an emergency manoeuvre of landing an F-16 on the highway in Lahore.
