Five terrorists, including Hizbul commander, killed in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar: The Indian Security Force killed five terrorists, including the top commander of the Hizbul Mujahideen outfit in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir. Colonel Rajesh Kalia, the spokesperson of the Defence Ministry, informed that a massive amount of ammunition has been seized from the location.

The Indian security force received information that the terrorists were hiding in Reben in Shopian. Later, the National Rifles, CRF and Special Operations Group carried out a search campaign in unison and tracked the terrorists. Moreover, at the time, a skirmish happened between the security force and the terrorists, in which five terrorists were killed. These dead militants also include Hizbul’s top commander Farooq Asad Nalli. Besides, another Pakistani terrorist got killed in this encounter.

This operation was carried on for over 12 hours. At the time, the security force was also attacked with rocks. Later, telecommunication and internet services were shut.

In the last month, Hizbul commander Riyaz Naikoo was slain, and this shocked the Hizbul outfit. Hizbul’s Syed Salahudeen confirmed this news. Moreover, the security forces had also overthrown the plan of Jaish and Hizbul to avenge the death of Naikoo, by attacking Pulwama. This year, the security forces have killed 80 terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir, which also include 21 top commanders of various terrorist outfits. Also, the patrons of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir are on the radar of the security forces.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, Pakistan open fired at the Shahpur Kerni region, Kasab sector at the LOC. Also, they fired in Baramulla, Uri sector. Pakistan had committed this act to help the militant intruders. Moreover, an Indian army official also informed that this action has been successfully avenged.
