Army given freehand by Defence Minister to take important decisions regarding border security

New Delhi: – The Indian Army has been awarded complete decision rights by the defence ministry, regarding any necessary action to stop the aggression of the Chinese military. It is reported that Defence Minister Rajnath Singh issued these orders during a meeting with the chiefs of defence forces. Therefore, the Indian soldiers who were bravely facing the aggression by the Chinese military can now retaliate more strongly against the Chinese Army in the same language. Not a single bullet has been fired on the Chinese border in the last so many decades. But a stern warning has been issued with this delegation of authority to the military that after the martyrdom of 20 Indian soldiers, along with Colonel Santosh Babu, China cannot take Indian patience for granted. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh had a meeting with Chief of Defence General Bipin Rawat, Chief of Army Staff General MM Naravane, Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh and Air Chief Marshal RSK Bhadauria. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh took stock of the situation in Ladakh during this meeting. The Defence Minister authorised the defence forces to make any necessary action on the border during the meeting. Before this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced that the military has been completely authorised to handle the border situation, following the all-party meeting.

An agreement exists signed between India and China that their soldiers will not resort to firing while patrolling duty. This agreement was signed with the point of view that there should not be a conflict, if the soldiers from the countries come face to face, while on patrolling duty. But China, taking advantage of the agreement, kept on making intrusion attempts in the Indian territory. But now a message, that henceforth, China cannot take the patience of the Indian soldiers for granted and there can be a strong retaliation against any Chinese misadventure, has been delivered. Therefore, China, who has been claiming its rights over Indian territories Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh to Uttarakhand, including the Galwan Valley in Ladakh, has received a severe jolt.

Chines spate of claiming Indian territories continued after the Galwan valley incident and China was, once again, trying to establish its right to patrol this area. But this time, China will have to prepare itself for a conflict with the Indian military while making an intrusion attempt. As per military analysts, the Chinese military will not be ready to fight a war in the current scenario. It will be difficult for China to play these mischiefs in the future, because of the deployment of the Indian Army and Airforce along the Chinese border and the infrastructural developments by India in the border region.
