The soldiers of the security forces, in a fitting retaliation against the attack, killed all the four terrorists.

The killed terrorists were involved in the killing of two civilians in the Kulgam district. There has been an encounter between terrorists and the security forces in Jammu-Kashmir after 11 months. The security forces have initiated a campaign to eradicate terrorism from Kashmir. The terrorists have been trapped in the southern Kashmir region because of the campaign. The terrorists have been paralysed as the security forces have busted the agent network, which was operational in Kashmir.

But the Pakistan-based terrorist organisations are consistently planning major terrorist attacks. At the same time, the Pakistan military is resorting to firing on the Indian military posts to facilitate entry of terrorists into Kashmir. But these conspiracies of Pakistan and the terrorist organisations have been thwarted by the Indian security forces. A fitting reply is being given by the Indian security forces to the Pakistani firing.
