The Saudi attacks, on this rebel group from Yemen, affiliated to Iran and the one to accept the responsibility of the attack on the Saudi oil projects, have intensified further. Saudi and its allies carried out fierce airstrikes on the Hodeidah port under Houthi control. At the same time, Saudi seized a boat smuggling weapons for the Houthi rebels. Incensed by this action, the Houthi rebels threatened unlimited attacks on Saudi.

Fierce attacks on Saudi, if it does not stop attacks on Houthis, threaten the Houthi rebelsCommander Mahdi Al-Mashat said during an interview with a Houthi affiliated news channel ‘We have complete rights to retaliate against Saudi attacks. Therefore, Saudi should not make a mistake of carrying out more attacks. Otherwise, we will carry out dreadful attacks which will prove to be very costly for Saudi and its allies.’ A few hours before this threat, the Houthi rebels threatened that Iran was preparing for attacks on Saudi.

After jolting the Saudi oil exports with an attack on the Saudi oil projects, Iran had planned new attacks on Saudi. Last week, a leader of the Houthi rebels had informed that Iran was planning fresh attacks on Saudi with missiles and drones. A diplomat from the western country had said that Iran insisted the Houthi rebels also to participate in the attacks on Saudi. But now, the Houthi rebels have withdrawn all these claims.

A week ago, the Houthi rebels threatened the Saudi allies. They had warned to attack cites of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with missiles and drones. UAE has joined Saudi, in its campaign against the Houthi rebels in Yemen. UAE has replied to the Houthi threat. UAE warned that if the Houthi rebels attack the tourist and financial centres in UAE, it will be an attack on the world and only on UAE.

Against this background, UAE has once again decided to support Saudi and its allies by joining the Saudi military front, against the Houthi rebels. A few weeks ago, UAE had withdrawn from this front.
