Tehran: The United States will face a decisive retaliation for any attacks launched on Iran. Iran threatened that Iran would use all its military might against the attacker. At the same time, the Iranian foreign ministry threatened that Saudi, carrying on a misinformation campaign against Iran, should amend its ways in time, or else the country could get cornered further.
Last week, US President Donald Trump had made preparations to attack the Iranian Natanz nuclear project. Trump came to this decision following the report released by the International Atomic Energy Agency. But the US newspaper carried a report that Trump put the decision on hold, following opposition from ministers. A strong reaction has emanated from Iran over this.
Ali Rabiei, the spokesman of the Rouhani government, threatened that there would be a decisive retaliation against any attack on Iran. Whereas, Alireza Miryousefi, the Iranian representative in the United Nations, justified the Iranian nuclear program. Miryousefi also asserted that Iran has demonstrated its military might to the world and it is completely within Iranian rights to attack anyone posing a challenge.
Iran also threatened Saudi, who is criticising the Iranian nuclear and missile programs and appealing to the International community to unite against Iran. The Iranian foreign ministry clarified ‘No one can save Saudi from a boycott until the Saudi rulers change their stand.’ At the same time, Iran lashed out that before criticising the Iranian nuclear program, Israel and Saudi should come clean regarding their nuclear programs. The Trump administration is giving indications that although Joe Biden secured a majority in the US presidential elections, Trump, who is still the President, can order an attack on Iran. Whereas, one of the Israeli leaders had threatened that if Biden won the US Presidential elections, Israel would attack Iran. Israel is repeatedly warning that if Biden, after becoming the President thinks of a new nuclear deal with Iran, it will have serious repercussions.
Restless with all this, Iran is threatening that there will be a strong Iranian retaliation against any attack on Iran. Even in the past, Iran had warned that any attack on Iran would be treated as a declaration of war.
