London: – Coronavirus claimed 917 lives in the United Kingdom, in 24 hours, taking the total number of deaths near 10,000. The pandemic has claimed more than 70,000 lives in Europe and the European Union has announced an aid of $540 billion for the anti-coronavirus crusade.
9,875 patients have died in the Coronavirus rampage, in the United Kingdom and there are 78,991 cases in the country. The British health department informed that nearly 270,000 people have been tested for the infection. A few days ago, a US study group had expressed a fear that the number of deaths in the United Kingdom, due to the pandemic, will cross 60,000.
In the last 24 hours, the pandemic has claimed 669 lives in Italy and 510 lives in Spain. The total number of deaths in Italy has reached 18,489, whereas 16,353 patients have died in Spain. France is the next in the list, following Italy and Spain, with 13,197 deaths. 50 soldiers on the French aircraft carrier Charles De Gaulle have contracted the Coronavirus infection.
