34 Chinese fighter jets invade Taiwan's airspace

Taipei: Taiwan alleged that 34 Chinese fighter jets and nine destroyers crossed the ‘median line’ and intruded into its territory. Taiwan also dispatched fighter jets and destroyers in response to the Chinese incursion. At the same time, our missile systems were also prepared. After this preparation of Taiwan, the Chinese planes withdrew. But this has again made it clear that China’s aggression towards Taiwan is increasing.

Moreover, J-11, J-10 and J-16 fighter jets of the People’s Liberation Army of China had infiltrated the territory of Taiwan. Chinese planes provoked Taiwan by crossing the ‘median line’ known as the buffer zone between China and Taiwan. Nine Chinese destroyers also entered the Taiwan Strait. This incursion of Chinese planes and destroyers continued till six o’clock on Wednesday morning.

Moreover, Taiwan’s Ministry of Defence ordered the withdrawal of Chinese infiltration aircraft and destroyers. But not receiving a response, Taiwan launched its fighter jets and destroyers towards the Chinese aircraft destroyers. At the same time, China also kept its missile system ready as a further preparation. After this, Chinese aircraft and destroyers withdrew from Taiwan’s territory.

Furthermore, US media points out that China’s aircraft destroyers are intruding near Taiwan’s air and sea borders almost daily. Senior US leaders and military officials are warning that China will take control of Taiwan by 2025. US leaders also warn that the Biden administration should arm Taiwan to prevent China’s attack. Japan had warned that its security would also be threatened due to the attack on Taiwan. But the Biden administration is being criticised in the US for not being ready to take an open stance against China.
