China has clarified that its stance even before the outcome of the International tribunal at the Hague court. China’s foreign ministry’s spokesperson Liu Kang has announced that China will neither accept the decision on this case which has been filed by the Philippines nor accept any papers related to it.

If China accepts papers of the international tribunal then it indicates China’s acceptance of the decision of the court. This is the reason why China has adopted the policy of not accepting any papers regarding this. In last 3 years, by not sending their representative to the Hague court, China has demonstrated that it is not a significant matter for them. Just two days back both America and Japan had appealed to China and Philippines to respect the decision of the International tribunal of justice.

China’s blunt rejection of the decision may trigger reactions from America and Japan. America has already deployed 2 warships in the ‘South China Sea’. So the possibility of military action from America cannot be denied. On this background, the ‘Global Times’ has warned China’s armed forces to be alert.
