China contends to divert Indian attention to Arunachal Pradesh from Ladakh

New Delhi: – China has prepared to pressurise India, abducting 5 Indians from the border areas in Arunachal Pradesh. As per information, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju contacted China regarding these five abducted Indians. But the Chinese foreign ministry announced that China does not believe in Arunachal Pradesh, as this is South Tibet. China contends to salvage its pride after being rocked, as its military took a beating in the Pangong Tso region, conceding two strategic hills to India. Staking a claim on Arunachal Pradesh, China seems to be opening a new front against India.

Chinese mouthpiece, Global Times, issued a new war threat to India, in its editorial. The editorial warns that once a war starts, it is hopeless for India. Global times argued in the editorial that India should withdraw its military from Ladakh, before the onset of winter; otherwise, India will have to face a lot of casualties due to the unbearable cold. But China has created excellent facilities near the border. Therefore, it will be easier for the Chinese soldiers to bear the cold.

China, who is issuing threats to India through the Global Times, already has cold feet, due to fear of the unbearable cold in Ladakh. The fear is expressed in this unsolicited advice given to India. China does not give time and training to its soldiers, to acclimatise with different weather conditions. Therefore, China has realised that its soldiers cannot sustain the blood-freezing cold in Ladakh. Therefore, Global times is threatening India and advising the withdrawal of troops. At the same time, the Chinese ploy in opening the Arunachal Pradesh front is to get the Indian attention diverted.

There is nothing new in the Chinese claims regarding Arunachal Pradesh. China has indirectly confessed that the Chinese military is falling short, in facing the Indian military in Ladakh. Former Indian military officials have retorted that the bubble of the military might of China, who is threatening India, will burst as soon as the first bullet is fired on the border. China is fully aware of the bravery and professionalism of the Indian military. These military officials are pointing out that this is the reason, not a single bullet has been fired, by China, on the border. As per these former officials, the Chinese aggression on the Ladakh border is nothing but a Chinese attempt, to save the Aksai Chin region from India.

Not only the former Indian military officials, recognised think tanks and universities in Europe and the United States also have inferred that the Chinese military will not be able to bear the onslaught of the Indian military, even for a few days. A recent report published by the ‘European Foundation for South Asian Studies’ claims that the Indian military will easily crush the Chinese opposition in Ladakh. The Indian bold stand against China is instilling self-confidence, even in the smaller countries who are the target of Chinese bullying. Therefore, it is becoming clear that China is causing more and more damage to itself, with intrusion in Ladakh and China will have to bear a major brunt, on all levels and fronts, if it refuses to retreat even in the future.
