China increases force deployment at Ladakh LAC

New Delhi: – China has deployed missiles, rockets along with 35 heavy military vehicles and four howitzer artillery guns near the LAC in Ladakh. While these reports are being received, Chinese President Xi Jinping has again instructed the military to prepare for war. A few days ago, China tested the interceptor for a ballistic missile. A Turkish news agency claimed that the Chinese test was in view of the tension with India on the LAC in Ladakh.

ladakh-lac-china-8-febFestive celebrations will soon start in China. The Chinese soldiers demand holidays for these festivities. But President Jinping warned that the soldiers should be cautious at this time. Jinping said that China’s message is unprepared given the festivities and should not be delivered to the enemy under any circumstances. Hence, Jinping said that the Chinese soldiers should be in a war-ready condition. Even before this, Jinping had delivered a message to the Chinese soldiers that they should not fear death. While such messages are being delivered to the soldiers by the top leadership, the Chinese activities on the LAC in Ladakh have also increased.

As per reports 35 heavy military vehicles and 4 howitzers have been deployed at Shikuan in Aksai Chin, 82 kilometres away from Chumar in Ladakh. Last month, it was exposed that movement of military vehicles and heavy military equipment and construction activities had started in Rudauk region of Aksai Chin. In December, the movement of 20 military vehicles and military equipment was noted in the Piyu region of China. The senior officials of the Indian military have noted that the Chinese army is augmenting its strength with fresh deployments near the LAC in Ladakh.

Along with this, China has deployed SAM surface-to-air missiles at Lhasa in Tibet. Along with these 30 military vehicles have been deployed in Lhasa. It is claimed that China deployed the forces; it is disturbed by the Indian Air Force’s increasing movements near the LAC in Ladakh. While China is posing a challenge to Indian security, India has seemingly made elaborate preparations for retaliation.

While answering a question in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Defence, Shripad Naik, clarified that all the weaponry and equipment necessary on the LAC are being purchased on high priority. The Minister of State for Defence clarified that all the required measures are being taken to face the enemy on the northern border. This information revealed without a direct mention of China, clarifies that all the necessary supplies to the army have been ensured.

The Chinese activities have increased even on the India-Myanmar border with China. Before this, China started activities on the India-Bhutan border and other parts of the India-China border. Considering that China could carry out such activities to pressurise India, the Indian defence forces have already increased deployment and patrolling in these areas. Therefore, the Chinese efforts to pressurise India have failed.
