French National assembly passes resolution; recognises China’s crimes against Uyghurs as genocide

Paris/Beijing – ‘The violence perpetrated by the People’s Republic of China against the Uyghurs constitutes crimes against humanity and genocide,’ French National Assembly has passed such a resolution. The French parliament’s resolution also demanded that the French government provide the safety and security of the Uyghur minorities in China’s Xinjiang province. Thus, this has made France the fourth European nation to pass a resolution regarding the Uyghur genocide.
