Canada shooting: Gunman kills 16 in Nova Scotia 

Nova Scotia: In a mass shooting, 16 people were killed when a gunman started indiscriminate firing, in the Nova Scotia province of Canada. The gunman was killed in the encounter with the Police. The incident has become the most gruesome mass shooting carried out in Canada.

Gabriel Wortman, who had recently shifted to the Portapique town in Nova Scotia, carried out the shooting. Wortman was a denturist and went on a rampage in the town wearing a police uniform. The Police reached Wortman after the patrolling unit found dead bodies in Portapique.   

The local news agencies informed that Gabriel obtained the police uniform from an officer he killed at a check post. The motive behind the rampage could not be ascertained. However, the Police chased the killer after the mass shootings and located him nearly twelve later. After that, Wortman was killed in the encounter with the Police that ensued.   

The motive behind the killing spree Wortman carried out is still unknown. Nevertheless, the latest mass shooting in Nova Scotia is by far the deadliest one.
