US civilians blame President Biden’s policies for rising inflation in the country

Washington: A survey conducted by ‘Politico’ website revealed that President Joe Biden’s policies are responsible for rising inflation in the United States. As per the poll by Politico alongside Morning Consult group, 62% of people have voted Biden to be responsible for inflation in the United States. In the same survey, over 50% of people have expressed discontent about Biden’s leadership. At the same time, Politico also slammed Biden for avoiding to face the press personally. Besides, the article by the website also criticised Biden’s policies as ‘Bunker Mentality’.

This survey has revealed rising discontent among people of the United States against President Biden in the last two months. Withdrawal from Afghanistan and handling of migrant issues are considered the main reasons for this. Following that, the issue of inflation has added to this meltdown. Politico is the leading press company that releases information via website, newspaper, radio and even podcasts. This company recently held a poll about Biden administration with Morning Consult.

According to this poll, 62% of people voted Biden’s policies responsible for rising inflation. Currently, the rate of crude oil and fuel is at a record level high. Moreover, the prices of other productions have also increased due to the supply chain crisis. It is claimed that this rising inflation is an indicator of recession in the United States. Against this background, the conclusion in Politico’s survey seems significant. This poll has revealed that the number of voters dissatisfied with Biden has risen to 72%.

Moreover, three main polls held last month revealed the discontent among US citizens against the Biden administration. Over 53% of civilians had expressed dissatisfaction against the Biden administration in the Gallup Poll survey. Whereas, the survey conducted by Rasmussen Reports revealed that 51% of civilians voted that Trump’s policies were better. Thus, Politico has fired a salvo of criticism against the Biden administration given these surveys. Politico brought it to the notice that President Biden has met the press only ten times in the last nine months.

President Biden has not interviewed with the leading US dailies, The Washington Post & The Wallstreet Journal. He has not even interviewed with news channels apart from CBS, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, ESPN, NBC & Univision. Biden’s policy to avoid direct interviews with the media is a bunker mentality, Politico mentioned in its article. The article also cited that Donald Trump was interviewed 57 times in the same span during his term as the US President.
