90% of the people from Balochistan and Sindh want freedom from Pakistan

London: Since the last 72 years, Pakistan is abducting and killing men and women from Balochistan and Sindh provinces. 90% of the people in Balochistan and Sindh provinces, harassed by such atrocities want freedom from Pakistan. A bill has been presented for Tibetan freedom in the US Congress. Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder Altaf Hussain demanded that a Similar bill for independent Balochistan and Sindhudesh should be presented in the US Congress. MQM is the party representing the people who chose to move to Pakistan (Muhajir), at the time of partition of India. The military and the political systems have always treated this community, which came from India, with contempt. MQM came to be known as a party fighting aggressively, for the rights of this community. Therefore, serious threat developed to the life of Altaf Hussain, the founder of MQM. He, therefore, took asylum in the United Kingdom. The Pakistan military succeeded in breaking the MQM, having a big influence in Karachi, with the help of some of its members, reducing the influence of Altaf Hussain. Thereafter, Altaf Hussain started reading out the atrocities of the Pakistan military and many new things are coming to light.

Pakistan has always been under the influence of the military and the Punjab province dominates the military. Therefore, Pakistan military has always meted out injustice to the Balochistan, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. Especially in the Balochistan province, the Pakistan military is abducting thousands of Baloch leaders, activists, women and even their children, to silence the voices being raised against the military. A few days ago, during the virtual conference related to Balochistan, held in Paris, the atrocities against Baloch people, by the military, were highlighted.

Saying that thousands of people were being abducted even from Sindh province, just like Balochistan, Altaf Hussain levelled serious allegations on the Pakistan military. Altaf Hussain appealed that a bill in the US Congress should be presented, as 90% of the people living in these provinces want an independent Balochistan and Sindhudesh. Severe repercussions of this statement were heard from Pakistan. The intellectuals in Pakistan, who wish that Pakistan remains united, also have warned that the atrocities in the Balochistan and Sindh province, by the Pakistan military will have dire consequences.
