The stand of Biden administration responsible for the attacks on Saudi Arabian fuel projects, claims US Senator

Washington: – Senior US Senator, Bill Hagerty, claimed, ‘The attacks on the United States and its allies have increased ever since US President Joe Biden gave indications to relax the sanctions against Iran. Iran is apparently responsible for the attacks on Saudi Arabian fuel projects.’ Senator Bill Hagerty had showered strong criticism on the attacks on Saudi Arabian fuel projects last week, and the attacks were condemned even on the international level. Last week, the ARAMCO fuel project in Ras Tanura, in eastern Saudi Arabia, came under missile and drone attacks. The Saudi Arabian agencies claimed that they successfully neutralised the missile attacks. As per the Saudi Arabian media, the project did not suffer any major losses in the drone attacks. The Houthi rebels accepted the responsibility for the attacks on Ras Tanura as well as Jeddah in eastern Saudi Arabia and the Jizan fuel project in southeast Saudi Arabia.

But the senior advisor to the Saudi Arabian royal family accused that Iran was responsible for the attack at Ras Tanura while speaking to a US news channel. Against this background, Hagerty, a member of the Foreign Relations Committee, accused that the Biden administration’s policies were responsible for these attacks. Hagerty said, ‘One more attack was carried out on a Saudi Arabian fuel project, and this has an Iranian stamp on it.’ Hagerty launched a scathing attack, ‘The wish of President Biden to relax the sanctions is encouraging the Iranian regime to launch attacks on the United States and its allies.’ Although he did not mention it openly, Hagerty has held Iran responsible for the rocket attacks on the US military bases and embassy. Pentagon spokesman John Kirby had avoided the mention of Iran while speaking about the attacks in Iraq. President Biden faced a lot of criticism after that.
