Arms depot of Iran affiliated groups destroyed in a drone attack in Iraq -

Baghdad: 21 terrorists were killed in a drone attack, on one more location of an Iran-affiliated group, in Iraq. The local security agencies informed that an arms depot of the Iran-affiliated group was destroyed in the drone attack. The Iran-affiliated group has accused that Israel is responsible for the attacks, on its locations and has threatened of a strong retaliation.

There was a massive explosion in the Amber region of Iraq. The locals were not aware that ‘Popular Mobilisation Unit’ (PMU), an Iran affiliated group, had their base at this location. But as the debris containing pieces of rockets and missiles were spread at the location, it was exposed that one more arms depot had been targeted. Infuriated PMU accused the United States of the attack, on this location in the Amber region, in front of the media. PMU claimed that this was the second drone attack carried out by the United States.

This is the second attack on the Iran affiliated group, in the last two days. On Monday, the largest arms depot of the Iran-affiliated group, in the Syria-Iraq border area, was attacked. 17 terrorists had been killed in this attack. Syrian security agencies blamed the United States and Israel of being responsible for the attacks. Since the last two months, strong attacks are being carried out on the Iran affiliated groups in Syria, Iraq and Lebanon.

Along with the terrorists from the PMU and Hezbollah, soldiers from Iranian Revolutionary Guards and Quds Force also have been killed in the attack. Israel had accepted responsibility for some of these attacks. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had warned that Iran and Iran affiliated groups could not remain safe, in any corner of the world. Whereas, the United States justified the Israeli actions taken, in Syria, Iraq and Lebanon, to safeguard its security.

A few days ago, an Iranian leader had threatened that 150 thousand Iranian missiles are aimed at Israel and we will destroy Israel. Therefore, it is being indicated that Israel is destroying the Iranian stockpile of missiles and ammunition, which could be used against Israel by attacking these locations of the Iran-affiliated groups in the countries under Iranian influence. At the same time, the United States also has initiated a spate of attacks on the terrorist organisations in Iraq.
