Afghan have lost faith in the US President: Afghan Ambassador to the US

Washington: – Adela Raz, Afghan Ambassador to the United States, made vitriolic criticism that everyone from the Afghan population has lost faith in US President Joe Biden due to his decision to withdraw US army from Afghanistan. Thus, the Afghans would no longer trust any US President. But the Afghan people are equally grateful for the sacrifices made by US citizens and the military for Afghanistan, Raz told the Associated Press.

Is America still the leading country in world democracy? Ambassador Raz lashed out at this question. ‘For the last twenty years, the United States has been trying to establish democracy in Afghanistan. The Afghan people also believed in the United States and fought for it. But when the United States began negotiating with the Taliban, Afghans lost faith in the US leadership.’ said Raz, lashing out at the US-led agreement reached with the Taliban in Doha.

At the same time, Ashraf Ghani’s escape from Afghanistan had already been decided, alleged Ambassador Raj. The Afghan Ambassador alleged that it becomes clear that the Biden administration did not care about the rights of Afghan girls and women. For this, he drew attention to the statements of President Biden and the Chief of Defence Staff, General Mark Milley, regarding the military withdrawal of Afghanistan. President Biden had backed the military leave, saying that the United States could not protect the entire world.

Meanwhile, it has been a month since the Taliban took control of Afghanistan. Afghan ambassadors around the world say the Taliban’s occupation of Afghanistan is entirely illegal. But Afghan ambassadors around the world are unwilling to accept Taliban leadership. Adela Raz also asserted that she would not accept Taliban leadership.
