Afghans will expel Pakistan just as Soviet Russia: Afghan Vice President Amrullah Saleh

Kabul: – Chris Alexander, a former Canadian minister, expressed a hope ‘The Afghan people must expel Pakistan, in the same way that the Afghans drove out forces of Soviet Russia, in 1979. It requires an armed uprising, international protests and sanctions against Pakistan.’ Afghan Vice President Amrullah Saleh said that this is just the beginning of the conflict. After a while, the Afghan people will surely drive Pakistan out of their country.

Alexander, a former Canadian Minister and Canadian Ambassador to Afghanistan, slammed Pakistan on social media. For the past few months, Alexander has been blaming Pakistan for instability in Afghanistan. Alexander blamed Pakistan for infiltrating into Afghanistan under the disguise of Taliban attacks. His allegations are gaining ground in Afghanistan, and even Vice President Saleh has responded.

Saleh said, ‘This is just the beginning of the conflict, and after a while, the Afghan people will throw Pakistan out of their country.’ At the same time, there is a growing demand in Afghanistan for sanctions against Pakistan. Fawad Aman, a spokesman for the Afghan defence ministry, also called for sanctions on Pakistan. Fawad Aman said, ‘Destroy terrorism, its supporters and sponsors.’

The Afghan government and security agencies have blamed Pakistan for the instability in Afghanistan. The allegations against the Pakistani military are not hollow but have been substantiated by the Afghan government. Ahmed Shuja Jamal, the head of Afghanistan’s National Security Council, told a Mideast news channel that Pakistan supplied weapons to the Taliban.

A few years ago, Jamal said that the ammonium nitrate needed for explosives and used by the Taliban to attack US troops stationed in Afghanistan was manufactured in two Pakistani factories.
