'9/11: a conspiracy of none other than the US' alleges Saudi legal expert

“It was in fact the US who, with the purpose of inciting ‘war on terror’, master-minded and executed the 9/11 terror attacks”, claims Katib al-Shammari, a Saudi legal expert. He makes this sensational allegation in his article in the Arabic daily ‘Al Hayat’ adding that the accusations of the 9/11 attacks pinned on Saudi Arabia are in fact, a part of a planned strategy of the US.

Al Shammari’s allegations are evidently a response to the dispute between Saudi Arabia and the US over the ‘9/11 bill’. It was in the last week that the American Senate passed the bill authorizing the investigation of the Saudi Hand in the 9/11 attacks.

In his article, Al Shammari alleges that the 9/11 terror attacks as well as the accusing finger of the US that currently points at Saudi Arabia are both a planned American strategy that he calls ‘victory by means of archives’. He writes that before using it against Saudi Arabia, this game plan had been employed against Iraq and the dictator Saddam Hussein. The US began by blaming the Al Qaeda for the 9/11 attacks then it blamed the Taliban, then Saddam Hussein and now it is Saudi Arabia’s turn. However, falling back on claims and studies of several experts and analysts, Shammari substantiates his allegation that it was none other than the US who executed the 9/11 attacks.

’11^th September is a winning ace for the US. All experts on American policy and those who study and analyze videos and images of the Twin Tower attacks agree unanimously that this is purely American doing and conspiracy. The sequential explosions that ripped through both buildings are but proof of it. Expert structural engineers demolished the buildings with explosives. The planes crashing in, was only the green signal for the detonation, not the cause of the collapse. The US however, still persists in blaming all others.’ claims al Shammari in his article.

‘9/11 was the medium that helped the US create a nebulous enemy called ‘terrorism’. This then allowed the US to blame ‘terrorism’ for all their mistakes and use this phantom terrorist threat as an excuse for military operations and covert wars the world over. The US constantly manufactures conflict and cannot exist without an adversary. It is the US again who is responsible for labelling Muslims as terrorists’, says Shammari as part of his allegations in the article.

The Saudi legal expert, while launching this scathing allegation on the US, has stood solid in defence and support of Saudi Arabia, reiterating that his country has nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks.

11 of the 15 terrorists accused of the 9/11 attacks were found to be Saudi citizens and the American Senate had apparently prepared a report that indicated the Saudi hand in the incident. However, the US government has not as yet published these documents evidencing the above claim. Should the US publish these documents, Saudi Arabia threatens to sell of American debt bonds and assets, which move could fuel further, the tension between the two countries.
