450 terrorists waiting in PoK to infiltrate into India

New Delhi: An official informed that nearly 450 terrorists are in the waiting, at the terrorist launch pads in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), to infiltrate into India. The intelligence agencies had informed, a few days ago, that 230 terrorists had assembled in the PoK. But the situation has changed in the last two weeks and as per received information, the number of terrorists, at these launch pads, has doubled. The intelligence agencies have launched an alert, in view of such a massive gathering of terrorists at these launch pads. Chief of Army Staff, General Manoj Naravane, had recently said that the activities on the terrorist bases, across the border, were on the rise. All the countries in the world, including Pakistan, is facing the Coronavirus crisis. But Pakistan is using these crises for terrorist activities. The Army Chief had also retorted that during the crisis India is exporting medicines and Pakistan is exporting terrorism. Against this background, there are reports that the Pakistani activities in PoK, are on the rise.

As per information nearly 450 terrorists from various terrorist organisations, from Pakistan, have assembled at 14 launch pads in PoK. Out of these, 244 terrorists are from Lashkar-e-Taiba, 129 from Jaish-e-Mohammed and 60 are from Hizbul Mujahidin. These terrorists have reached the launch pads near the Line of Control, from the 16 terrorist training bases, mainly located in the PoK. 11 of these 16 bases are in PoK, whereas 2 are in Punjab and 3 are in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces.

Many terrorists have been killed, in the last three years, during the all-out operation undertaken by the Indian security forces, to eliminate terrorism from Jammu-Kashmir. In the current year, 28 terrorists have been killed in encounters, only in April. The local recruitment in the terrorist organisations has stopped. The network of over ground workers assisting the terrorists has been busted by the security forces. The peaceful situation, in Jammu-Kashmir, after abrogation of Article 370, by India, is upsetting Pakistan further. At the same time, the analysts are claiming that Pakistan is plotting these attacks to divert the attention of Pakistani people from the daunting internal problems faced by the country.

Only last week, the Indian security forces shelled and destroyed the terrorist bases, across the Line of Control, using Bofors guns. Defence Minister Raj Nath Singh recently said that the Pakistani military, assisting terrorist infiltration, is being taught a proper lesson. With this, Pakistan has been warned that India will not tolerate these infiltration attempts and a fitting reply will be given.
